Who we are

This site, vectorprojects.uk, is operated by Vector Leak Consultants Limited, a company registered in England & Wales. The registered office address is held on file and will be provided on request to info@vectorprojects.uk.

Vector Leak Consultants Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

What data we collect

We collect personal data in the following circumstances:

• Enquiry forms (Contact, Waterproofing Design Review, Designing for Sensors). We collect the data you provide — typically your name, email address, telephone number, company name, project details and any free-text message.
• Google Analytics 4. If you grant analytics consent via our cookie banner, we record anonymised usage data — pages visited, session length, approximate location — with IP anonymisation enabled.
• Google reCAPTCHA v3. We use reCAPTCHA on our enquiry forms to prevent spam. Google receives technical signals about your browsing session to score the request. Google is the data controller for this processing.

We do not collect payment card details, bank details, or special-category personal data through this site.

Lawful basis for processing

• Legitimate interest — to respond to enquiries you submit, and to operate and secure the site against abuse (reCAPTCHA).
• Consent — for analytics cookies. You can grant or refuse this via the banner shown on first visit, and change your mind by clearing this site's storage.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiry submissions stored in our project management system (Monday.com): retained for 24 months unless a project relationship is established, in which case the data is retained for the life of the project plus any contractual retention period.
• Google Analytics 4: retention configured to 14 months.

Where your data is stored

• Monday.com — enquiry data is stored in our Monday workspace, hosted in the European Union.
• Cloudflare — the website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with UK and EU edge locations.
• Google — Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA process data internationally, under the UK extension to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Third parties we share data with

We share personal data only with the service providers we use to operate this site:

• Monday.com — project management system
• Google — Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery
• MailChannels — outbound email delivery for acknowledgement and notification emails sent from the site

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

Cookies

This site sets only one tracking cookie, and only with your consent:

• _ga — set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish unique users. Expires after 2 years. Set only if you accept analytics cookies via our banner.

We also use localStorage to remember your cookie preference (key vector-consent). This is not transmitted off your device.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict our processing of your data
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
